​"On behalf of the Trustees and staff of Cambridge Muslim College, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr Rothman for his stewardship of Cambridge Muslim College over the past three years. During his tenure as Principal, he has overseen the growth of the College and contributed to its positioning today as one of the pre-eminent institutions of Islamic higher education in the West.

The IAIP has republished this classic in Islamic Psychology literature which has been out of print for almost a decade. First published in 2009, the original volume edited by Amber Haque and Yasien Mohamed is now available again, with a new foreword by Abdallah Rothman. The book includes contributions from pioneers in the field such as Malik Badri, Syed Naquib al-Attas, and Laleh Bakhtiar. The authors have incorporated religious and transcendental concepts that shape human personality, which are based on the Qur'ān and the works of early Muslim scholars.​

The Trustees of Cambridge Muslim College are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Abdallah Rothman as Principal of the College.
The Dean, Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad, said: ‘After five years we have succeeded in finding the ideal candidate to lead Cambridge Muslim College at this critical moment when we are doubling student numbers and launching ambitious new research programmes. I know that Dr Rothman will be a superb Principal and will play a vital role in shaping the new generation of Muslim leaders.’
